Music
At Holy Trinity we value music as a powerful and unique form of communication that can change and impact the way children feel and act.
Our pupils are inspired and engaged in music education as it allows them to grow in self-confidence, creativity and gives them a sense of achievement. Music plays a key role in the curriculum at Holy Trinity Primary School, especially singing and is vital in our mission of creating aspirational pupils. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop their musical potential and we aim to nurture and encourage musical development across the school.
Curriculum Intent
Music is taught to every class on a Friday by a specialist music teacher Mr Ben. He uses a variety of instruments and the children have the opportunity to learn about musical notation, composition, dynamics as well as being taught songs from different genres.
