Curriculum
At Holy Trinity we are determined not only to ensure that every child receives what is their fundamental right: a good education, but the right education for that child.
We passionately believe that every child deserves an education that is broad, rich and deep.
Our curriculum is underpinned by the framework of concepts and skills identified in the Rights Respecting Schools programme.
These concepts and skills are explored and developed through the themes that make up the curriculum. The curriculum is organised around half-termly themes.
By teaching the core subjects of English and Science within the context of these themes, we create a coherent, stimulating and engaging curriculum.
Non-core subjects including Art and Design, Design Technology, Geography, History and Computing are also taught within the themes too, providing context and encouraging deeper learning and understanding.
Music, PE and Languages are taught by specialist teachers.
